Three minutes drive from our office. We are lucky to have a good restaurant nearby. Today there were about 10 men having a very lively drinking party, probably a neighbourhood association get-together.

There’s always jazz playing in the background and it’s very comfortable.

Today’s appetiser is ‘mozuku vinegar’.
“mozuku vinegar” is a traditional Japanese dish made from mozuku seaweed, which is typically found in Okinawa. It is prepared by marinating mozuku seaweed in a tangy and slightly sweet vinegar-based dressing. The dish is known for its slippery texture and refreshing taste, often served as a cold appetizer or side dish. It’s a popular choice for its unique flavor profile and the health benefits associated with seaweed consumption, such as being rich in minerals and dietary fiber.

And I ordered a bottle of sake, hot again today.

Salmon sashimi

Horse sashimi. This is a cultural difference that some people may reject. We apologise if this offends you. But this is a popular dish here. It is served with special soy sauce and garlic.

Braised pork cubes. This is also very tasty. The chunks of meat melt in your mouth.

Fried shiitake mushroom sandwich. Minced meat like a hamburger is sandwiched between shiitake mushrooms and deep-fried.

Grilled aubergine shigi-yaki.

I ordered several other plates but forgot to take a photo.

And it was another good day. Thank you. Good night.
